Hello Darwin,
When I did upgrade it was on 32 bits and it worked fine (my SD menu from my Photograph Camera) starting from winXP to win10. No problem and so. After clean install win ten 64 bit, I saw that I can't read the same menu anymore. To reply on points:
- Kickoff, at that place was never a driver installed for Card reader, and in that location is no 1 provided by Toshiba (http://support.toshiba.com/back up/modelHome?freeText=1200011985&osId=50)
- Next the SD card is merely one DCIM binder, witch is non Bone (32 or 64 bit) dependent. Information technology was not reformated or modified bill of fare, simply few pictures added. On the other side, I take a xanthous exclamation signal on Mass storage Controller in Device Managing director and also on "Toshiba" icon ( my computer) in "Drivers and Printers" window that conduct after clicked to see a problem with Mass Storage Controller driver (say that driver not needed). So is with the controller not with card; with bill of fare or without card, the controller probably not work.
-Lately, I change cypher in BIOS; however there is nothing related to bill of fare reading controller in BIOS. If information technology was, shouldn't affect also the item of SDA SD controller in Device manager (who is "enabled" and "working")? (of class, it doesn't work).
What else can be wrong?

Hullo Darwin,
Past method ane, just search for a driver, but the troubleshooting procedure was aforementioned similar troubleshooting from the problematic detail itself, with the aforementioned event: No driver found or installed
Information technology's a good thought for method ii, merely usually is for pieces of software, non hardware, as hardware is non user dependent. I tried though, with same result, the Mass Storage Controller having the aforementioned device status:
------
The drivers for this device are non installed. (Lawmaking 28)
In that location are no uniform drivers for this device.
To notice a commuter for this device, click Update Commuter.
------
where "Update commuter" is greyed out, instead I have again "Modify settings" button (where, I call up that I tin can force to update driver). If I well remember from few days ago on my user I did that with no better result.
Any other idea?
Eventually I may search for my former HDD with win10 32bit, earlier cloned to actually SDD. This but to look if they are or not both Mass and SDA Controllers as devices, or ... others info nosotros may need. Also, I may boot in the old XP as information technology still is on some other partition of SDD (merely I don't know how to practise it safely)
Cheers,
